Dr. Doolittle (The man who can talk to animals), by Esther Kim

Dr. Doolittle is realistic fiction, and was released in 2020. It stars Robert Downey Jr. (Dr. Doolittle), Michel Sheen (Dr. Blair Mudfly), Jim Broadbent (Lord Thomas Badgley), and Antonio Banderas (King Rassouli). Dr. Doolittle is a doctor who can talk to animals. He even cures the queen’s dog, and gets a mansion as a reward. One day, Dr. Doolittle and a boy named Stubbins went on a trip to find the queen's cure. Lord Thomas Badgley, who wanted to be a king, told Mudfly to stop Dr. Doolittle. Will Dr. Doolittle got stuck by Mudfly? Or will he find a cure and save the queen? I like this movie because Robert Downey Jr. 's and animals’ acting was fun.

Throughout the film, the best part of the movie I think is the cinematography. I like the bgm while the scene happens, the CG, and characters acting was fun. The scene where Dr. Doolittle and the tiger were fighting, and the music gave me excitement. The animals might be CG, but they showed like real animals in the movie. Many scenes have different feelings, and the characters acted naturally, so it shows they have that emotion in the scene. I think the message of this movie is, “If you have fear, defeat the fear with your mind.”

I saw the movie poster on Netflix, and thought, Robert Downey Jr. acted? It might be fun and I clicked it. I want you to watch this movie because this movie has action, story, and shows how the animals defeat their weakness. I’ll give 4 out of 5 potatoes because this movie is in second place of my favorite movie (the first one is We Can Be Heroes). I highly recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of Robert Downey Jr., but also who wants to see what the animals are talking about.
