There are six members of this band, Ryan Tedder who is lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Zach Filkins who plays guitar, Drew Brown who plays bass, Brent Kutzle, the cellist, Eddie Fisher the drummer, and Brian Willett who plays the keyboard (similar to piano). I like this pop song, so I sometimes listen to this music.
The lyrics are about what we are going to do in the future. I think the lyrics are very beautiful. I personally loved the vocals because they matched well with the melody of the song. I think the instrumentals sound great, especially the guitar. The guitar was a nice instrument to play in this song. This song had a similar melody with other songs. Even if this song had a similar melody with other music, I think this song is unique. I really liked this song because I loved the melody. I like the lyrics and melody, but I didn’t like the music video because the music video was not my type. The music video just had singing and playing instruments in it. Even though I didn't like the music video, I really love this song!
I think “Counting Stars” is a great song. I loved this song because of its melody and the instrumentals. My favorite part of this song is “Lately I been I been losing sleep. Dreaming about the things that we could be. But baby I been I been prayin' hard. Said no more counting dollars. We'll be counting stars.” I love this part because the lyrics make me think about what I will do in future. I would give this song 4 out of 5 stars. I recommend this song to someone who likes to sing and listen, not watch music videos a lot.
